christ mass.

oh christmas.

i love it. and yet all the frantic rushing about and getting what you always wanted or what you almost wanted can leave you a bit low. i love the family time too, or cuddling with someone when it's cold outside. why does christmas bring so much emotion with it??? christ must've been thinking about how emotional it would be later, people worrying about his birthday and all. and forgetting it, or trying to scrounge up enough emotion to meet it the right way. a couple christmas services help, but they're never quite right either. eternal, my church, had a cool service where we all brought pillows and sat in candlelight singing and taking communion. and this morning some guys spoke at my parent's church about the "hope" of salvation that will finally be fulfilled one day when we get to heaven. i want to know hope, and i feel like i'm starting to. i want to know christmas somehow, and feel it the right ways. thanks nick, for a good cd to lead me along through the season. and thanks ren for a wonderful time with your family. and thanks everybody for being out there...

merry christmas.

he is come!
