so with the move out of comfortable parent home to fun guy apartment i've been struggling with some issues. basically, i feel uprooted. i felt so comfortable and hidden in the dirt of my heart that i've let pile up over my deep roots in the past year. and now God's started pulling me out of all that comfortable dirt. i feel exposed and vulnerable. i feel naked like adam and eve when they ran and hid in the garden. and i feel like the basement of my heart has it's doors wide open and i don't want god, or matt and brian, or lauren, or anyone to see those dark places that are in me still. so i want to run, but i know that exposure leads to change and growth and stuff. the purpose of replanting is to put the plant in a bigger pot so it can grow. it's just not fun when the sun shines on my roots.

for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
"Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."
