R.T.

I think I've mentioned Rosie Thomas before. I first heard of her through good old Nick, who always has a suggestion for a new listen, (though I'm still not a fan of that Crystal Skulls stuff, sorry Nick).

Anyways.

Lauren and I saw Rosie Thomas, who hilariously referred to herself as R.T. She's so funny. Her speaking voice is delightfully childlike. She introduced a song about flying kites, trying to explain her difficulties trying to fly them beside the kid who's always got his 100 feet in the air, saying, "Flying kites can be fun. Maybe for you, not for me."

She was great.

Then, she was followed by Over the Rhine. Good stuff. I've seen them a bit, and they seem to be changing their sound a little. But they're still Over the Rhine--good, honest musicians.
