bird & mockingbird

I caught a bird in the lab yesterday. It flew in from the cold. Here's a shot.




Plus, Lauren and I went to see Derek Webb last night, whose albums include She Must and Shall Go Free, Mockingbird, and most recently The Ringing Bell. His lyrics are so good. So stinkin good.

Here's one from The Ringing Bell in a song called “This Too Shall Be Made Right” that I caught last night which really struck me:
