just wait.

hey kids.

well. it's been a bit since my last posting. but here's the latest.

i went to holden, sc this week, which contains its own beach, and i got a little sinusitis, which means i got very little beach.

also, i didn't get accepted into any of the grad schools that i applied to, which for the record were brown, nc state, vanderbilt, and university of florida, which probably happened because there are times when i prefer not to capitalize such as now. but not really...

however, i am not sad that i didn't get into grad school this fall. it means that i'll just wait for another year. i have a good job that pays the bills and can save up some money for that time. plus, i'll have some time to relax, live outside of deadlines, and do some creative things that i've been meaning to do for way too long now. who knows what'll happen? good things can happen when our perfect plans are foiled.

i'm kinda trusting that everything happens for a reason. proverbs 16.9 says, "the mind of a man plans his way, but the lord directs his steps." i'm trusting that too, and i'm cool with it.

plus, lauren and i are throwing a pirate themed graduation partaaaaay for may the 10th. you're invited.

soo i was clicking my favourite books and i came across your blog and i just wanted to say that UF's campus is incredibly ugly, and i'm glad i didn't apply. everyone and their mom at my school was freaking out about getting in meanwhile i was totally chill cause i'd gotten into FIU which is where i wanted to go in the first place. sorry for telling you my life story x]

oh and i totally agree with what you said abouy good things happening when our plans are foiled. i'm always telling people that everything happens for a reason when they're upset.

take care =]
